buzzard opportunity work was getting depressing, no progress, little stimulation. on a clear windless day i took off and drove out through the hemel en aarde valley, November and the farmers were harvesting barley. as per usual Pip came with, happily foraging around on our frequent stops i got well
into the patterns laid down by the harvesters as they spiral inwards from
the borders of the organically shaped fields. standing on the roof of
my kombi to clear a fence in front, we were briefly joined by this hovering
buzzard taking aim at some unsuspecting prey. allowing me a few seconds
to compose, set and shoot. magic does happen!
